The Llama's Secret is a retelling of a story from the Huarochiri Manuscript, a Quechua-language text dating back to 16th century filled with the myths, stories, and religious beliefs of the indigenous Quechua people of Peru. In this great flood myth, a llama warns his family and fellow animals of an impending flood and guides them to high ground in the mountains.
