Yarn: Knit Picks Wool of the Andes Sport in Bramble Heather, Palette in a coordinating color.
I ran out of the Palette due to the extended brim and had a similar color in sport. There is a small color difference that I managed through alternating the stripes.
This was my first time using a provisional cast on and picking up the stitches. It went smoothly and has a barely visible join.
The pattern has a great tree motif that made it a great gift knit for the guys in my family.
